The ICOPE Québec screening is intended for adults aged 65 and older who live at home or in a community setting and wish to support their autonomy and quality of life. It can be completed independently or with help from a caregiver, family member, friend or healthcare professional.
Yes. The ICOPE Québec screening is now available online and is free to access.
Yes. You do not need to have a health concern to complete the screening. ICOPE is designed to help you review your capacities and identify possible changes early, even when you feel well.
Yes. The information you provide and your screening results are treated confidentially in accordance with applicable privacy requirements. They are used to operate the screening, present your results and recommendations, and support the evaluation and improvement of the program. Only authorized persons may access them.
No. Your doctor will not automatically receive your results, and they will not automatically be added to your medical record. You can save, print and share them yourself with your doctor or another healthcare professional. If follow-up is recommended, we encourage you to discuss your results with a healthcare professional.
