Bergman/Pilon Lectureship in Aging
An annual initiative of Schouela CEDurable, the Bergman/Pilon Lectureship welcomes internationally recognised experts to Montréal to explore ageing and its implications for research, care, education and policy.
About the lectureship
The lectureship creates a forum for interdisciplinary dialogue, bringing scientific knowledge and clinical experience into conversation with the needs of older adults and the priorities of society. It encourages closer connections between research, healthcare, and health and social policy.
Each annual programme includes a keynote lecture and opportunities for clinical and research discussion. Its connection with McGill’s Geriatric Medicine Research Day in Aging is intended to highlight trainees and emerging talent, supporting mentorship and collaboration.
The initiative was made possible by Howard Bergman and Colette Pilon, whose generosity and vision reflect a shared commitment to improving the lives of older adults.
